The pope and governer...all in one day!

So, on Tuesday, the Pope arrived in Jerusalem. This causes quite the reaction from the people here, and he is very protected. The exciting thing is that he is living next door to the Jerusalem Center. This being the case, we have security guards lining the sides of the Center, and they are at every level. So every time I go down the hall to my room, they are peering through the window and waving hello. They are especially creepy at night, because they knock on the windows at you, and ask where you are going and stuff. It kind of feels like we are in a prison because there are guards with huge guns on every floor. It's also very hard to get to places in Jerusalem, because if the Pope is on the move, there is no way to get past all of his entourage and police men. But it sure is exciting!! We also had the great experience to have Governer Huntsman (the Governer of Utah) and the Utah Surgion General give us a forum. The Governer mostly talked about politics, and the Surgion General talked about Jerusalem. He had the blessing of coming here a long time ago, and he actually met his wife on the study abroad! It was an amazing forum, and very inspirational!
