Jerusalem!

So, I am writing from the Jerusalem Center! I finally made it after what feels like forever of being in the airplane. Everything went very well, and the Jerusalem Center is the most beautiful building I think I have ever seen! I have only had a few mishapps so far, which is to be expected knowing me. I left my journal on the plane from Washington DC to Vienna, and realized this when I got to Vienna. I went to many places to see if I could get it off the plane, but to no avail. How sad! Then I boarded in Vienna, and couldn't find my scritptures. So, I asked if I could get off to look. They took my ticket stub and let me off. I went the wrong way, and a security guard wouldn't let me back on the plane. By this point, the plane was ready to leave, and they actually said it had already left. I insisted that I had to get on that plane with them yelling at me in a lot of German. Finally they rushed me on the plane. When I sat down, my scriptures were right there. Just my luck. But on the good side, I have already made some amazing friends, and I can't wait to make more! This will be such an amazing experience. I can't believe I am so lucky!
I love you all!

  1. What a day. Sorry about the journal. That would have been VERY frightening in Vienna to not have them let you back on the plane. Glad you made it!

  2. This is so much fun. So did they let the harp on board as a carry-on, or what?

  3. Annie- I'm so glad you made it! What a crazy trip. I'm sad for your journal. Did it have your address in it? Probably not. Dang. You were such a good little journal writer too. And the Vienna thing...I almost cried thinking about it. Were you crying? I would have been. Can't wait to hear more! I love you!

  4. David: they wouldn't let my harp on. I don't know why!

Lucy: I almost cried, but I felt like I had to fight to get back on, so I didn't. It was not very fun though!
